Twitch is a livestreaming platform focused on video games. The most-viewed clip of all time according to Twitch Strike is a clip from JesseDStreams which simply features the eponymous Jessie D waking up after having fallen asleep while watching TV. As you might imagine from a channel that normally features content of this ilk, Jesse D’s channel normally garners only a small number of viewers.
Traffic continued to grow, with 1.5 million broadcasters and 100 million monthly viewers in 2015, rising to 2.2 million broadcasters and 15 million daily viewers in 2018 – around a million of which could be found using the platform at any given time.

TwitchTracker, another analytics service following activity Amazon’s popular game streaming company it bought in 2014 for nearly $1 billion, shows each major game increasing viewership as well Twitch didn’t immediately respond to a request for comment.
All entries in this ranking are Dutch game streamers with no mention of how many people from the Netherlands follow foreign streamers, such as former Counter-Strike professional Ninja who is currently the world’s most popular Twitch streamer due to his sessions of Fortnite with celebrities such as hip hop artist Drake.

Like other publishers that grapple with the costs of making making video, Inverse is looking for ways to repurpose video that it makes for a given channel, so each episode of SquadUp!” will be edited down into a 15-minute clip that will then be posted on Inverse’s site and on YouTube.
Ninja’s success is intertwined with the ongoing popularity of « Fortnite: Battle Royale, » a shooter game in which a hundred online players are dropped onto an island where they mine for materials, build structures, find supplies, and kill each other until a single player is left standing, similar to the dystopian arena game described in the « The Hunger Games » books and movies.

Ninja’s brand has also been boosted by appearances on popular TV shows like « The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, » « The Ellen DeGeneres Show, » and ESPN’s « E:60. » He became the first professional gamer to grace the cover of « ESPN the Magazine » in October 2018.
He has over 14 million followers on Twitch, and the platform has hosted many of his pioneering esports moments, including a Fortnite event in March 2018 featuring rappers Drake and Travis Scott and football player JuJu Smith-Schuster that propelled the game into a full-blown cultural phenomenon.

This young man is currently the most popular streamer on Twitch, and deservedly so. His qualities as a Fortnite player can be overshadowed only by his charming personality – even though he’s amassed a large sum of money over the years, many of his checks have gone to charity.
